Series getting canceled status

Description of issue: Series status to canceled

Why sonar is giving canceled status to some series when in fact they are renewed or not renewed but also not officialy canceled?

Moon Knight, Carnival Row are just some examples.

Sonarr pulls it’s info from TVDB, so it doesn’t matter what TMDB or anywhere else says.

TVDB is updated, but last update was today, Oct 15th
Skyhook is not yet updated
You just need to wait out the cache times

For anything like Moon Knight where it was released as a standalone season, and there is zero concrete evidence of a returning season, it is considered Ended until otherwise officially announced or known.

This happens a lot with irregardless of which database. I’m betting right now I have a dozen marked ended that will have at least one more season.

If nobody updates thetvdb, then that’s how they’ll stay…
There’s also a big difference between “surely they’ll make another season” and the official announcement.
