I have Download Propers and Ignore Deleted Episodes enabled however I am not clear why a show named Limitless.S01E21.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION was downloaded and the following the day Limitless S01E21 1080p WEB-DL 6CH HEVC x265-RMTeam [1080p][HEVC] was queued again? I did delete the first after watching it.
How do I check what caused this so I can avoid it?

Check the cutoff for the Profile attached to the series, sounds like its set higher than HDTV 720p so the better quality episode was grabbed. Ignore Deleted Episodes requires the series folder on disk to be rescanned, if it was deleted and not rescanned immediately there is a window where an upgrade could be grabbed (based on your profile).
Hi, I am using the Any profile and its cutoff is defined as SDTV which is the lowest. I imagine it was the second case you mention, is that the “Update series info and scan disk” link from with the series you mention?

Hi markus101, I have a torrent download client and a show had been attempted to be queued several times today now again. I never deleted it, I am however not importing media as I do not want media moved. Do you know what else I may have not setup right?

If it was never imported Sonarr will never know that it completed, do deleting it is irrelevant, Sonarr will perpetually see it as missing (until manual unmonitored), but shouldn’t grab upgraded qualities, but will still grab propers.
But it could be a problem with the quality profile. Make sure your using the profile you think you are and the cutoff is set appropriately.
The Any profile with SDTV as the cutoff would be unlikely to grab anything higher than SDTV in most cases.
Ok, after watching this continue to grab copies of media I already had fetched and watched, I noticed some permission issues so that may be why it never thought it actually completed a download.
With the perms all resolved and sonarr daemon context having full access to the two download clients result directories it seems to work. The quality profile doesn’t have many knobs to twist so I’ll assume it was perms for now.
I have to wrap my head around the way sonarr works, I came from sickbeard/sabnzbd where a download was queued, watched then deleted.
How do I manually unmonitor an episode? It appears I can only globally unmonitor an entire series. For example, if I add a series that has been running for 10 years, how do I ensure only new unaired episodes will be fetched going forward?

Choose the option to monitor future episodes.
