SDTV overrides Unknown

So I had an Unknown torrent of 1.37GB and then it started downloading a torrent of SDTV of 900MB. I’ve since switched the unknown to be higher priority than SDTV however does Sonarr do any kind of checking of the downloaded file to verify what it is especially if unknown?

Also as a side note, the history shows the SDTV version was two hours later flagged for download, it’s downloading in my torrent client but doesn’t show it’s downloading in SOnarr. Is that normal after the first version it gets finishes?

Sonarr will fall back to the extension if the file name doesn’t give any additional information.

No, is it in the correct category in your torrent client?
