I would like to have a setting to decrease the RSS Sync Interval when there are Wanted/Missing episodes.
So, for example, you could set an interval of 60 minutes normally but but then decrease the interval to 15 minutes when there are wanted episodes. When an episode hits the wanted list you would check if a sync has happened within the wanted interval (the shorter one).
Just because shows have recently aired doesn’t mean they’ll be posted ASAP or not posted earlier, at 15 minute interval (which is pretty standard for indexers to refresh at and not complain about hitting too frequently) that’s only 96 API calls a day and seconds of processing power to churn through them.
We do not have plans to add dynamic RSS sync intervals such as this.
