Reproducable bug with series episode counts

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4645
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 4.8.0
OS: Ubuntu Server 14
Description of issue: I was able to reproduce the following bug/issue and wanted to post here so you guys could take a look or address it if you felt it so necessary. Basically, if you delete the files in a series’ directory and also delete the top folder (the one named after the series’ title), the episode count (xx/xx) will not update correctly until you manually recreate the folder with the series’ title OR a new episode is snatched for that.

Example. I manually delete the folder for series called “Fake Show” – Then, I hit the update series button in Sonarr, it will still show the original episode count (for example: 22/54) until the folder is somehow re-created.

Not sure if a bug or intended, but figured I would post this. Not a big deal at all unless you are OCD like me

Thanks!

It’s intended, originally designed to not purge the episodes from the db if the folder might be unmounted.

But you should also update to the newest Sonarr, coz you’re a version behind. We updated the behavior a bit recently.
Previously it would not remove those episodes if the series folder itself was missing. Now it will only do that if the PARENT of the series folder is either missing or totally empty. (An empty parent could be a unmounted volume).
