All series I have are set to download all HD quality episodes (720p HDTV, 1080p HDTV, 720p webdl, 1080p webdl, bluray 720p, and bluray 1080p). There are multiple instances that a 720p HDTV gets released and is queued in the download queue of SAB and then after a few hours a 1080p HDTV is released and gets queued as well. This 1080p queuing instance happens when the 720p did not even start downloading yet (because of other releases in the top of the queue still downloading) and so effectively I will be just wasting bandwidth in downloading the 720p release. Is there anyway to avoid this? Isn’t Sonarr smart enough to delete the 720p release from SAB’s queue if there is already a 1080p release there?
Its on the todo list, so to speak, it knows its there, but doesn’t currently ask it to be removed:
I see that the priority for this is low and it’s been a year since it was filed. Are there ETA’s to these things in the to do list or is it just really just the “it’ll be fixed when it’ll be fixed” scenario? No pun intended.
Nothing in the ways of an ETA, that will only end in disapointment, unless its a critical bug we get to things as we can.
Yeah, that’s what I thought as this is a free program anyway. Thanks.
