I am not sure if it should be a bug report or a feature request but to me it seems more like an unwanted behaviour.
So i have a show named “Hillbilly Blood”. When looking for nzb, nzbdrone finds some and send them to nzbget.
For example “Hillbilly Blood A Hardscrabble Life S01E06 720p HDTV x264-MiNDTHEGAP”
The problem is that nzbdrone wont import the episode at the end of the download because of the “A Hardscrabble Life” which is not part of the serie’s name.
One easy way to fix that would be to rename the nzb before sending it to nzbget. Simply ignore the original name and name the torrent/nzb to a format nzbdrone is sure to recognize.
This is actually what CouchPotato does and it works great. That way you can also correctly clean up the files after download/move/rename completed.
@Taloth To be really honest i am just wondering why it works for CouchPotatoServer. I know for sure it at least add the imdb id to the nzb name
here is what it looks like in nzbget.
Anyway i will ask for a scren naming exception.
Thanks
Pretty sure all they do is add the imdb id, we could add the tvdb id, but that would only give us the series, which would help, but a scene name exception would do the same and wouldn’t alter the original title at all, plus enables searching if the indexer doesn’t support tvrage ids or there isn’t one for that series from trakt.
