Red Download icon on episodes already downloaded

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.10.1567
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Running on Synology NAS, DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 6
Using NZBGet 20240115-30 (latest stable release)

I posted this on reddit, before releasing this is probably a better place to post…

My episodes are downloading fine. They are being saved to the right folder… And show up in plex for my viewing.

However in almost every download (going back a few months) The download icon is red. for the downloads that have already completed.

See this image…

If I then click into the actual episode. I get the below

In the history tab, On this page I have a recycle bin icon. with this text when i hover over the i/details. Name/volume1/video/Shows/Tracker (2024)/Season 1/Tracker (2024) - S01E04 - Mt. Shasta WEBDL-2160p.mkv ReasonFile was deleted to import an upgrade

If i hover over the red download icon i get

MessagePAR Status: NONE - Unpack Status: NONE - Move Status: NONE - Script Status: NONE - Delete Status: COPY - Mark Status: NONE

and its also showing 2 download icons as the screengrab… the file is already download, saved to the right folder and in my plex for viewing…

Anyone got any ideas on why this is happening?
thanks.

It’s likely the delete status. Your history shows Sonarr never imported the file from your download client, so it never stopped tracking the download in your client and when it changed to an error status it started showing that in the app.

The best solution would be to allow Sonarr to import things properly, but you could disable Completed Download Handling to ignore anything that’s completed, though Sonarr will see it as missing until a file shows up.
