I’d like to know what delays other people use on Sonarry for Torrents and Usenet. My preference is for the download to happen via usenet but often the episode is released on Torrents first.
My current delay is 2 hours but the torrents are still being downloaded first. What are your settings for torrent delay?
I have set mine to 24 hours, because torrents are really only a (crappy) backup solution compared to usenet imo and I don’t care about ratio’s.
So I’m a filthy hit&runner on a free torrent indexer, but I hardly ever use torrents due to the delay. But if I do get a torrent, the delay guarantees there’s plenty of seeders and the download speed is not too horrible.
It depends if you got access to a decent tracker,
for Usenet i use a delay of 30 minutes because else i can run in a issue that it’s not yet complete on Usenet,
for torrents i use a delay of 0 being that i’m on a private tracker that max out my speed at start.
also because they show up first on trackers before they hit Usenet.
