Description of issue:
So I upgraded to Qbittorrent 5.0 and now torrents don’t start on their own you have to change the setting in qbittorrent to auto start every torrent added. Before they were starting since in sonarr qbittorrent client settings state of torrents added was “start” . I am guessing it’s a bug if someone can fix it in an update would be nice.
I have the latest qBittorrent and it’s been behaving just fine.
Do you have “do not start download automatically” checked ? Because I need that to be checked so when I add torrents manually they don’t start.
I have to manually start a torrent if I direct download myself, but in both Radarr and Sonarr the torrents are automatically started in qBittorrent.
It is a bug then because it doesn’t work for me.
I also have the same problem and qbittorrent start stop button also not working. Only force start and recheck work
Your first post said they don’t auto start but you want them to. This post says you don’t want them to auto start. What is the scenario you want and what is happening exactly?
I was asking the guy that claims it works yet people on reddit have the same problem as me. I want torrents from sonarr to auto start and manually added torrents to not auto start, as it works with qbittorrent 4.6 and before. I didnt find a solution so i rolled back the container.
Maybe it’s something with the containered version. Personally I don’t recommend installing anything in containers unless you have no other choice.
That’s a really odd recommendation. It’s incredibly easy to switch running versions of apps when you run in containers. No uninstall/cleanup/reinstall needed.

I was updating my qbitorrent and wanted to see if there were any known issues. I saw this thread, but went ahead with my upgrade to qbittorrent 5.01
No problem between Sonarr 4.0.10.2544 and qbittorrent in my testing.
@crashburn162 were your issues ever resolved?
I reverted back to 4.7 and it works great. I saw the 5.01 mentions the start function should work now fine. Do you have the option to change the “alternate colors of rows” so that every row is the same color in the Webui ? Because that was annoying.
