Problem to find anime with ":" with indexer search

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.0.334
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 5.14.0.177
OS: NAS Qnap (Linux)
Debug logs:
Description of issue:

As mentionned in the title i have added an anime (“Tokyo Ghoul:re”) but when the search is made to the indexers nothing is returned because it looked on this [Tokyo Ghoul:re] but in my indexer the “:” is not present.
How can i “force” to find my result ?
another question : why in the search of the title we have only a few result ? for example in my previous example i were surprised to see only “Tokyo Ghoul:re” and not “Tokyo Ghoul re” in addition.

How is made this search ?

thanks for your help

An alias will need to be added on thexem.de.

I cannot register on this site. how can i do that ?
thanks

You’ll probably need to talk to them on IRC, IIRC that information is in their FAQ.

i tried to post them but no one to answer. is there any alternative to find anime (i mean if i exclude manual search ;-))
thanks

No, that is the only place we get aliases for anime from.

Also make sure the debug logs indicate that Sonarr is searching as you think it is, some characters are removed automatically when searching, off hand I’m not sure what the case would be here.
