Post processing files from a different source

Hello,

I love Nzbdrone for its uses, post processing and gorgeous UI. Currently I found that a few of my series are not found on my sources but are recognized by Nzbdrone. Therefore I downloaded them from a different source but placed them in the same folders as other content from Nzbdrone. My issue however is that I cannot get Nzbdrone to manage those files (and post process them).

Am I doing something wrong or is this an issue to be fixed?

Kind regards,

Freshnerr

You should be able to drop them in the drone factory folder and they will import. If they’re not importing from there, enable debug logging and the log files will show why the files weren’t imported.

The log file shows that the folder was found, scanned and completed, however Nzbdrone identifies season 2 files as season 1 files instead. Also, it only identifies one season even though both folders are named Season 1 and Season 2 respectively and contain the right episodes. I did download season 2 before season 1, but this shouldn’t be an issue?
Nzbdrone also seems reluctant to rename my episodes when using the rename button.

Need debug logs, your info logs don’t show enough details (pastebin the logs, don’t put them in the body).

You also ran a refresh of the series, that is not the same as drone factory.

Drone uses the file name to determine the files, if they aren’t numbered correctly (with the season and episode) then it can’t import them properly, it does not use the season folder name to determine the season.

This is a separate issue, which we will need logs for, but one issue at a time.
