Pointing to a download folder?

Description of issue:

So I feel like I am just missing something but ill try to explain the best i can.

I want to know if it is possible to point Sonarr to a specific “general” download folder to have it periodically scan for shows that I did not download through Sonnar. For example if Sonarr is not able to find the show I want Ill go download it from IPtorrents manually and it will go into a downloads folder on my desktop. I want to be able to scan this folder and have sonarr move and rename the video to the series folder that it is already monitoring in the correct place. Is this even possible?

You can use Drone Factory for that, but it will be removed in v3 (and would still require Sonarr to be able to parse the release and map it to the correct series/episode).

Manual Import on Wanted: Missing may be a better choice.

The “Torrent Blackhole” feature is pretty much this, isn’t it?

Not really it’s intended purpose and could lead to downloads being sent there that you don’t want going there.
