Please add preferred, required, ignored filters

Couchpotato allowed simple preferred, required, ignored global filter. This lets you prefer x265 media or tweak minor issues with languages. We should have this! It should be pretty simple to add.

I want this feature because storage and management of storage is a pain and it makes little sense to archive content I’ve already seen at MAX quality. x265 is the ideal solution for most content. The quality is good enough AND the storage space to keep it achieved is significantly less. Smaller files are also nice on bandwidth and probably ever so slightly more resistant to download failures. It’s a simple feature. The alternative becomes you wait for the show to be over, delete it and get a full collection.

I know I can turn down the size slider, but I would prefer to prefer the higher quality encoding than just blind get low file sizes. It would also be nice to prefer other things, maybe even the group distributing the content if I just like their stuff on a certain ‘distro’.

It would also be nice if Sonnar could manage my TV and replace media with smaller x265 media if none was available at the time. It would also be nice to have Sonarr delete shows at a certain age because again… STORAGE management.

Help us manage storage with some better options please!! I’ll donate and not just whine.

Sonarr already have support for required and ignored filters (Release Restrictions on the Indexer settings page).
