I went into Sonarr and added a show (Siesta Key). I selected the entire series (2 seasons worth) and let Sonarr/NZBGet go to work. After a few minutes, it was done but Plex was only seeing season 1 and not season 2. From past experience, I know that if Plex doesn’t have read/execute access to a file/folder, it won’t display it. Looking around, I found the problem:

Question is… why would Sonarr grab season 1 and have the proper permissions and choke on season 2 and not apply the execute permission bit? Currently, I have ‘Set permissions’ OFF in Sonarr. Should I enable that feature? Never had a problem like this before and I’ve been using Sonarr for a long time.

The logs don’t show the import process so it’s impossible to say exactly what the issue was, could be differences on the source files or inherited permissions, so something else, I’m really not sure.
