My PC with Sonarr and SABNZB on it had a hard drive fail. Luckily I had a backup of Sonarr that I put on my other PC along with SABNZB.
The TV files are held on my QNap.
On this PC I can get to the QNap shares using these paths using windows explorer. \qnap\Multimedia\Shared Videos\Videos\TV | \QNAP\Multimedia\Shared Videos\Videos\TV
Here is an example of what comes up in my logs. Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: \QNAP\Multimedia\Shared Videos\Videos\TV\iZombie S04E13 720p HDTV x264-SVA-Obfuscated\
I run Sonar as a service under a personal account.
When I try to change the path of a show to \QNAP\Multimedia\Shared Videos\Videos\TV I get this error. Path is an ancestor of an existing series
Each series needs it’s own series folder, you can’t change it to have all series use a single folder or make a series folder be a parent/grandparent of another series (which is what is being done here).
If you want to change the path for all series, use Series Editor where you would pick the root folder (parent folder to each series folder).
