OS X DB Corruption

Hey there @markus101,

I’ve been having similar issues. I’m new to Sonarr (previously a SickBeard user) so will need a little hand holding… every few days something will stop Sonarr from starting anymore. I have been able to work around the issue by removing the Application and reinstalling another version but I don’t want to work around the issue anymore, given a choice

Update: I just removed the configuration file and it started working properly. So it’s definitely some sort of “customization” on my end from setting up the application, but I am not yet properly equipped to diagnose the issue.

My Sonarr log is here: http://pastebin.com/AcLEzdBs

How would one go about getting a memory dump?

Which version of Sonarr? Version 2.0.0.3004
Which OS? OSX 10.8.4
Which versions of .net are installed? I don’t know if this applies to OSX ?
How many shows in Sonarr? 24
How many indexers? Just one.

Moved because there was nothing about the last thread in common beyond it crashing.

You’re still on 2.0.0.2850 of Sonarr, not 2.0.0.3004:

15-4-20 08:13:42.8|Info|Bootstrap|Starting NzbDrone - /Applications/Sonarr.app/Contents/MacOS/nzbdrone.exe - Version 2.0.0.2850

Your Database (nzbdrone.db) is corrupt, you will need to restore from a backup or start fresh and upgrade, 2.0.0.3004 has some DB fixes for OS X.

Will try these out and reply back (though it might take a few days, given the history). MANY thanks for your help.

Update: Sonarr updated fine and I purged all settings (including corrupt DB). It is currently running well. Rebooting the computer several times and re-launching the application have presented no issue.

Now we play the waiting game… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4Oh7U_L6hs

Well, it’s been three days running stable now. I think I can officially say you are amazing @markus101.

Thank you for the support you do for this amazing product!
