So i tried enabling transmission, and while that went well, it seems to be that it started a huge search of one of my show which was set at the following profile
this is how my queue looks like now. I have not added a torrent website now, which explains the yellow icons.
season 4 of modern family is already at webdl-720p so its not under the queue, but the other episodes which are at either bluray-720p or webdl-1080p are being queued for a downgrade.
so basically its trying to downgrade anything which is currently above the already set quality profile, which wasnt the case before. Am i missing some new torrent settings? Thanks
EDIT:scratch that, even the webdl-720p episodes of Modern Family is under the queue now, even when the cutoff is webdl-720p. When i delete transmission from the downloader it seems to all disappear. I now think its because those episodes are on my transmission history list so its coming on the nzbdrone queue list. They are all completed though, just that transmission reports an error as I have moved them from the original location
So can something be done on nzbdrone’s side to detect such edge cases? maybe to just ignore torrents files such as those? If its possible I would like to not ed to delete those completed torrents from transmission for history tracking.
I think if you add a category, sonarr will only look at the torrents it has sent to Transmission himself.
E.g. in sonarr, go to Settings - Download Clients - Transmission, enter something in the Category text field. I have set mine as “sonarr” for example.
Since sonarr is seeing all torrents in your Transmission, I am guessing you have not set a category?
wow, I didn’t thought of categories in that way. Yes, I have not set a category. I have two torrents being downloaded which were grabbed by nzbdrone right now, so after these are done I will try that. Thanks!!
Hmm, having a weird error with one of the two torrent episodes grabbed by nzbdrone. One of it was completed succesfully and was imported to my media folder properly and is still being seeded. But the other one is still stuck in my torrent folder with the following error
[/mnt/user/Downloads/Movies/Marvels.Agent.Carter.S01E03.Time.and.Tide.1080p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-Coo7[rarbg]/Marvel’s.Agent.Carter.S01E03.Time.and.Tide.1080p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-Coo7.mkv] has a runtime of 0, is it a valid video file?
I have checked with mediainfo and the mkv correctly reports its duration so im unsure what exactly is causing this issue.
EDIT: FIxed this error by removing the unicode char (apostrophe) . Now to wait till the torrent finishes seeding to set a category.
EDIT2: setting a category has made all those queue file go away. Thanks for the tip @Thirrian!!
