I understand this is probably caused by TVDB or TVrage not having complete information in their Database… but certain new shows show status Ended… when they are actually in production IE: HBO’s Westworld, shows up as ended because TVrage and TVDB has no air date yet… so shouldn’t Sonarr just show a RED N/A or Unknown instead of red ‘Ended’ box…
Sonarr shows the value that TVDB sends down, either Continuing or Ended, it looks like its set to Continuing now, so refreshing the series in Sonarr should update it: http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=290193&lid=7
Refreshed series westworld still shows ended.
Fixed issue… Apparently i had a draft tvshiw id. Deleted and added westworld again. Now it works
This is what I see when I attempt to add it:
Did the series refresh properly? If the ID of the show you added was removed and has out of date data it would never update.
May be a completely different issue but I see something similar with a series titled “Flesh and Bone” that hasn’t aired yet. It is linked to http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=282400 which apparently doesn’t have anything set in the status field. This is the only series with that name listed on tvdb that I could find so I don’t know about the whole draft thing. How were you able to tell that it was pointing to a draft id? There’s also no air dates in any of the series information listed yet so maybe that’s part of the problem?
Also same issue as the series Proof (2014).
And this one The Returned (US).
Do the status fields just need to be updated for these shows? I’m not real familiar with thetvdb rules on unaired shows.
Looks like we were defaulting the status to Ended instead of Continuing, I’ve made a change, but it will take a little while for the cache to expire and for it to update.
