I am new to sonarr so far loving it ,
Under the general tab I use a vpn do I need to forward thr start up port number ? It’s been working fine also do you recommend enable ssl?
Also for file renaming I assuming it doesn’t move the files to another path once they have been renamed ? The path I set when I selectred the show is fine ?
Only other question is I no longer see the sonarr icon in the taskbar any way to enable that
If you want to access Sonarr remotely, not sure how that would work with the VPN.
If you’re only accessing it locally (on a trusted network) you don’t need to, it’s recommended if you access it via a pubic network.
Once they have been renamed by Sonarr once, no. If you mean something else please explain (with a concrete example).
Not sure how that relates, the path set when you added the show is used when Sonarr imports files from your download client, if it’s where you want it then it’s fine.
Don’t run it as a Windows Service, you’ll want to stop and remove the service (run ServiceUninstall.exe) and probably start Sonarr via the startup folder so it starts when you login.
