Sorry everyone, trust I’ve tried all wiki’s, support post, etc - but I’m too thick to understand what I am assuming is an easy explanation.
Have run Sonarr fine in the past using torrents and deluge - used rarbg for index. Had way too many timeouts and decided to move to usenet. So, here it goes, please forgive me for how I am explaining if not clear.
Signed up for www.newshosting.com, setup Sabznd (latest version) and set that up fine connecting to news.newshosting.com. Setup Sonarr with the download client Sabznd and that tested fine - but here is where I am lost, the indexer.
I was assuming that news.newshosting.com was also to be used in Sonarr for setting up the indexer - problem is, when setting up Newsznb, custom, for the indexer, it asks for URL, api key and api url - my account at newshosting.com doesn’t give me an API, I reached out to them and they said I needed to sign up for a search indexer in addition the account (during the setup process I was trying to use the API key in SABZND but that didn’t work so I think I am way off here) I have setup with them - so, am I right now in assuming I need to pay for another service, a news index searcher? No problem if I’m just being dumb here, and if that is correct, any direction on what service to buy would be helpful - thanks in advance and sorry if I missed what is a very basic explanation in documentation / posts somewhere.
