I seem to have lost the setup option where I could point to a folder to place nd deleted files. I moved ND from another computer where I had a dump folder set, now the setting is missing and I cannot set the folder.
Its an advanced option on the Media Management settings page (its been there for some time).
My bad. I got confused with the hide/show advance option.
