Multiple folders created for same TV Shows

Evening All,

I recently moved from SB to Sonarr and so far it’s been great bar one issue.

I have noticed multiple folders are being created for the same tv show e.g for “The Magicians” tv show, folder “The Magicians (2015)” was created by SB and all episodes downloaded via Sabnzbd were named “The Magicians.2015.S01E01” etc

Since i have moved to Sonarr, 3 different folders have been created, please see screenshot below.


P.S: I have already deleted the original “The Magicians (2015)” folder.

I assume i have not set something up correctly in media management page.
Please any suggestion on how to fix this issue.

FYI - Sabnzbd is handing the tv sorting so i am not sure if it’s a sonarr issue or Sabnzbd

Its SAB, but you should have Sonarr handle the importing so it knows that the file has completed download and is available in the library.

Just spent the last hour looking into this and i think i have sorted it.

Sab is no longer sorting the downloads, instead it’s dumping all files into the download folder and i’m now using “Drone Factory Options” functionality to pick up the shows from the download folder and move to the correct folders.

Tested a few tv shows and they all worked fine. :slightly_smiling:

Don’t use Drone Factory, its the legacy import method and will be removed in v3. Completed Download Handling will handle it all automatically.
