Multi-episode in single file not properly handled

This is the only file I’ve been having issues with and I’m not quite sure why. It appears to be named correctly for a multi-episode file, but when viewing library the 2nd episode is showing as Episode Missing from Disk. The Season 6 file for E1E2 is handled just fine, but Season 5 E1E2 file (named in the same convention as S6) is not being handled properly.

Current filename on disk: Mad.Men.S05E01E02.720p.5.1Ch.BluRay.mkv
I’ve also tried: Mad.Men.S05E01-E02.720p.5.1Ch.BluRay.mkv
And: Mad.Men.05x01-02.720p.5.1Ch.BluRay.mkv
And: Mad.Men.S05E01-02.720p.5.1Ch.BluRay.mkv

No luck after re-scanning the series after each filename change.

One odd thing I did notice was the episode counter on the Series page next to the Series Name. When I removed the file and rescanned it was showing (11/12) on the counter, but when I added the file back in it went to (12/13).

Pastbin debug log from when I moved the file back into the directory after removing it and rescanning: http://pastebin.com/72qKpckp

Any help is much appreciated!

I’m not sure, but it could be because the first episode is not monitored? Maybe sonarr then skips over the file, because it’s episode 1 (and 2), and episode 2 is then not found?

I don’t know, just an idea.

Tried not flagging both for monitoring and flagging both. Same each time: only adds the first episode.

If all are not flagged Sonarr gives it a 12/12, but missing the 2nd episode:

If I go and flag the 2nd episode for monitoring, then it moves to 12/13:

In either scenario, the 2nd episode is always considered Missing.

Thanks for the idea though!

The 5.1Ch seems to be causing the problem; it parses correctly for me if that portion is removed from the filename.

Looks like you are correct. After removing it from the Season 5 filename, Sonarr found it and filled in E2. Odd how it was fine with the Season 6 E1E2 multi-episode file.

Thanks everyone!
