Setting up Sonarr (20191122-16 in DSM) anew and most shows cannot be found. Oddball little know shows like The Simpsons, The Expanse, Doctor Who, Bob’S burgers, etc.
The also cannot be found if I enter the tvdb:78804 format for the show.
Some shows can be found, but it;’s a strange lists (Yes on Blackish, no on Fresh Off the Boat. Yes on 12 Monkeys, no on Harley Quinn).
Sonarr shows an update, but attempts to update it simply church the spinner for awhile and then stop without any error or update.
Edit: Updated to latest 3.0.3-687 with no change in search results.
Same type of issues here. Sonarr is suggesting literally the 2nd best TV Show as the match when importing from a disk. I can still add with tvdb:ID though. I have 300 shows to add and I don’t want to add them all that way…so I hope they figure it out soon.
Edit: Now the tvdb:ID is broken for me as well. Fun times.
I see nothing in the forums over at the tvdb…you’d think there would be something…this makes me think its something to do with how sonarr is using the API as dgaust suggested above.
I’ve also had issues adding new shows. Nothing shows up for what i search for other that generic, old shows. Not even a full list. Searching with TVDB number does nothing. I have just read about the TVDB issues and it seems it may not be a quick fix. Any one found a workaround for this yet? Thanks
The TVDB issues of eliminating older SSL (deprecated) protocols does’ seem likely since SOME shows match. Some shows that didn’t watch yesterday matched today (Doctor Who 2005) but most are still not matching. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
No the SSL change has nothing to do with this. Some shows work and some dont because of cache issues. When the cache is updated (tvdb) and it is updated with a blank entry… there is your problem. So as shows “update” they are being wiped out. Once the issue is fixed and they update again, the cache will populate correctly and it will work again.
