I continue to receive the missing root folder error. My root folder is on a network drive z:

Why does it double up on the z?

This is covered in the FAQ: https://github.com/NzbDrone/NzbDrone/wiki/FAQ#why-cant-nzbdrone-see-my-files-on-a-remote-server
Not sure why it would be doubled up, might just be how it is displayed (part of it being the message and the other part being the underlying error).
Thanks Markus,
I changed to a UNC path and also added drone to the startup folder and it eliminated the root folder error.
The only thing I noticed is that after downloading a file the episode shows downloaded in the episode list but the monitored status icon for that episode remains black while all the other downloaded episodes have a white icon.

Do yo have ignore deleted episodes on?
If so (and because the files likely disappeared due to the mapped network drive) , it would have unmonitored them because drone thought they were deleted.
Drone doesn’t unmonitored episodes when they are imported, it will only do so with that setting on and if they are deleted (found to be missing).
Yes I do have ignore deleted episodes on. The one I’m looking at is an older episode. I’ll have to see if it downloads new episodes repeatedly thinking there not on the drive.
If drone sees it as having a file and it’s monitored, the only time it would grab a new release would be if it was a better quality and the cutoff wasn’t met yet (common with old episodes in SDTV and the profile is set to HDTV 720p), some articles are on the wiki that cover this and how to deal with it.
Let us know if there is anything else you need though.
