is there a method of migrating an existing Sonarr installation from Mac to Windows?
i saw a thread saying that it wasn’t possible from windows to mac, but not sure if it’s also not possible from mac to windows.
I suppose the directory names will be troublesome.
E.g. in Windows you might have X:\Series\some series\Season 01\episode…
I don’t know what it looks like on a Mac, but for example on my (linux) synology NAS, it goes something like /volume1/series/some series/…
So you’ll have to update all the paths directly in sonarr’s database, and who knows what else that also needs updating in the database and/or config xml…
I’m really not an expert here, but depending on how many series/files you have, it might be easier to just start with a fresh install in Windows after copying the data.
@Thirrian is correct, its likely easier since there are multiple paths that need to be updated, mostly series and episode files.
