I am able to add both Match of the Day and Match of the Day Two to sonarr. However it will never download any of the releases. If I do a manual search it will find them but I cannot download them. There is a red ! and if I hover over it it says unknown series.
How should this show be added? Daily show?
Also I have my daily format set like this: {Series Title} S{season:00}E{episode:00}
Hi @jamesjfa ,
I’m having a similar issue. I can find MOTD by manually searching on various indexers, but never through Sonarr. I’d be very interested to know which indexer you’re using, then I can take a look into it too.
MOTD looks like a daily yes, but you have to give an explicit example of which release sonarr doesn’t see. For MOTD2 it’s likely a naming issue (Two vs 2), but that can be fixed. For MOTD I couldn’t see anything wrong in a quick glance, so please given an example release.
I have sonarr setup to use OZNZB and also KickassTorrents. I have added Match of the Day and now Match of the Day 2. when I do a manual search it comes back with the following from KickassTorrents only,
for Match of the Day the files are: Match of the Day – Week 12 - 07.11.2015 or EPL - Match of the Day 07.11.2015 SD
for Match of the day 2 the file is: Match of the Day 2 - Week 12 - 08.11.2015
All have the red ! with release rejected (unknown series).
I have them both set to daily type shows and my my daily episode format is set to look like {Series Title} - {Air-Date}
There are a couple issues with the naming of those releases;
Title - Week - Date - Sonarr can’t figure out the series because the episode title proceeds the date, this isn’t something Sonarr can easily overcome. This is going to prevent Sonarr from grabbing it, the second issue is less of an issue (but still an issue).
The date itself doesn’t follow the common date standard of year-month-day, we may already handle this case, but I’m not sure offhand.
