Description of issue:
Hi, I moved from sickrage to sonarr yesterday. I use the completes download handling with hardlink activated and it works fine. However, when I used manual import, instead of linking the files, it moved and renamed them, and now I can’t seed. The logs (unfortunately I deleted them) were the same as the screenshot, but some said that the files were used and couldn’t be accessed if I remember correctly. So, I shut down utorrent and tried again. Again, the same thing happened, and these are the screenshots. What settings should I change?
Manual import only moves files at the moment unless its invoked from Sonarr’s queue, which means its tracking the files, but unable to import them for some reason.
If Sonarr automatically imports files it will copy or hardlink (depending on your settings).
We do have plans to make it optional to copy or hardink though.
thanks, it’s good to know this is not a bug. Can you suggest some temporary workaround until hardlink is implemented? Also, when I try to update, AVG detects an Unknown or IDP Alexa threat. Should I be worried?
If you need to use manual import, copy the files elsewhere first, otherwise let Sonarr import them automatically.
Definitely a false positive, they likely have a way to submit false positives so they don’t catch them again.
when you say automatic import, you mean give the torrents the sonarr tag and monitor the episodes?
Yes, exactly.
Them being monitored is irrelevant, since that only controls whether Sonarr will auto grab them via RSS.
Thabks. I will try that. Keep up the good work!
