Hi
Is there a function to manually add a torrent file into sonarr? I know this defeats the purpose of the automatic searching, but can I add a torrent from another location (e.g. tracker that is not supported) and have sonarr do the renaming and moving as well as having it in the database with correct quality for future use?
Thanks
The way I handle this is - add the torrent, wait for it to be 100%, then copy to the DroneFactory folder. Sonarr usually grabs it properly then.
Jackett allows just about any tracker to work with Sonarr. If the tracker isn’t supported yet then create and issue and it will probably get added. https://github.com/zone117x/Jackett
I handle manual torrents by telling Transmission to save into the .sonarr subdirectory. This is the “category” that sonarr monitors. If the torrent / file inside the torrent has a decent name it will be tracked and post-processed by sonarr without any issue.
I suppose in other torrent clients the process is much the same, only you can probably add a real label to the torrent that sonarr will watch.
