Management of series vs multiple folders

Hi,

Don’t know if this is the correct category but I’ll give it a try.

I’ve been trying for quite some time to setup sonnar for my NAS but I am faced with the following issue:

Media location:

Volume1\Media\TV Shows
Volume1\Media\Torrents\TV Shows

I have a TV Show which has S01 and S02 in Volume1\Media\TV Shows and S03 in Volume1\Media\Torrents\TV Shows.

Is there any way for Sonarr to take the series from 2 folders ?

Idea is that I keep the TV show for seed in Volume1\Media\Torrents\TV Shows and at a certain point I move it to Volume1\Media\TV Shows

Help will be much appreciated as I’m missing the functionality of Sonarr …

I suggest that you simply not use all the automation. In my case Sonarr grabs the episode or season pack adds it to torrent client and from their once it’s finished seeding I file it away. For my use I don’t find all the automation necessary.

I feel you can do what you want letting sonarr hardlink the files.

Hi,

Probably i’ve explained the situation wrong. I don’t want sonnar to move the files. I just want it to know that TV Show has season 1 in volume 1\media and season 2 in volume1\media2

That’s not possible without manual micromanagement, sonarr only supports a single folder per series.
