Auto update wasn’t working I was on 4.1.1 I think. Tried to update to latest by downloading and installing that way.
MAC
OS 15.2
Can’t open Sonarr - so I can’t get debug logs
As per the instructions - When I go to terminal and put in the command:
codesign --force --deep -s - /Applications/Sonarr.app && xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Sonarr.app
I get this response
The following argument was not expected: --deep
Sonarr won’t launch. I have no idea what to do. Searching that phrase comes up empty. Sorry, I am not overly Mac savvy.
Thanks in advance
updated to OS 15.3.1 - no change
That command for codesign
is valid and works on my machine, unless it’s trying to run a different app I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for you as well.
What do you get if you run which codesign
?
Sorry for the slow reply. I was away for a few days. Just in case anyone else runs into this issue… I had a couple friends try on their similar MAC’s and it worked fine for them, so I knew it was an issue with my particular machine, a MAC issue, not a Sonarr issue.
I created a different user on my MAC and gave that user admin permission. Deleted the existing Sonarr. Downloaded a fresh copy and moved to applications. Ran the self sign script, and it worked just fine. Opened Sonarr and it ran like it was a new machine (setup page started).
Logged out of that newly created user, and went to the normal user. Sonarr popped up just like it should and works fine, all my data is there. I did nothing on the regular user side. I have absolutely no idea why this worked, but it did.
Thanks everyone.
