Mac Os26 Tahoe Beta sees Sonarr as Malware

I hope someone can advise/help…

I have been using Sonarr without issue on my Mac Mini for a few years now, and decided to install the MacOS 26 beta as it worked without issue on my Macbook.

However, as soon as the update installed it immediately claimed Sonarr was malware and the only thing it let me do was to send the file to the bin.

I have tried downloading the file again, but the same thing happens every time.

I am running Radarr without issue, which I know is a different package, but it does very similar things.

Has anyone else come across this at all? Is there a fix for it or is it just a case of waiting for it either the software or the OS to be patched to be compatible with the other?

Sonarr (and Radarr) aren’t signed, which is generally frowned upon, but doing that for Apple requires a lot of personal information provided to them, that coupled with heuristics could lead to a false positive just like happens with of AV from time to time.
