Here is what happened in the last few weeks. I lost my main HD on my Win7 server PC that hosts all the hard drives so I reinstalled everything exactly the way it was before, but then I noticed that when Sonarr moves a file into the series folder, it triggers the Kodi “Clean Library” option. Once that happens it seems to affect Library Watchdog, which then either deletes my entire DB in Kodi or some of it. I then notice 2 things. First, when I try to access the drives I get a"Timed Out" error until I reboot the Win7 server PC, and Second, the scanning for new content in Kodi just goes on and on until I reboot.
I have always used the same Sonarr configuration and Kodi backup over and over and have never encountered this before. I know I have to provide logs, which I will do as soon as I test it again in a few hours.
I just wanted to ask if anything changed in Sonarr (master) recently that can cause this. I also tried it with Isengrard (OpenELEC) and still have the problem.
I am quite certain it has nothing to do with Sonarr, but I am desperate for any help on this matter. It has been driving me crazy to keep adding thousands of movies and TV shows over and over.
I did do a fresh install this morning of Kodi with just the barebones and 1 TV series folder added. As soon as Sonarr triggered the library cleaning, I received a message from Kodi saying that the “TV1 folder” was not found, when I tried to click on the path it said that the path was invalid.
Library cleaning is purely on Kodi’s side, Sonarr tells Kodi to clean the library and it does everything, Sonarr doesn’t pass a path or anything. Sounds like the path is still configured in Kodi, but doesn’t actually exist on disk.
Well that’s the thing. I have no folders that don’t exist. I have my setup this way:
For TV Shows I have: TV1 - TV10 and for Movies I have Movies1 - Movies 11. They all exist, and I have never changed the configuration for the last 2 years. This only happens when Sonarr replaces an episode, even if I have Library Watchdog off, Sonarr triggers the clean library function and that’s when all the problems start.
As I mentioned previously, I reinstalled Win7 on the HD server, Win7 on the Sab/Sonarr PC and a fresh install of OpenELEC. This is just so weird and is driving me crazy. Anyway, I appreciate your input and will continue to try and figure this out somehow.
