I am thinking with the new version and the fact is has basically been rebuilt from Scratch
Perhaps it is appropriate we give the new Version a name something to quickly refer to it when posting on these forums or something
That way we don’t have to type something like Nzbdrone New or Nzbdrone Version 2 or something like that sort of like how linux distros have their Version Number but a comical or cool Name as well
This May help avoid confusion when referring to the new version vs the previous version.
v2 would be more appropriate, vnext was just a place holder while we figured out how we were going to version it (since we never really hit v1). Realistically it will just be NzbDrone and we’ll let v1 die.
yeah the name V2 is actually kinda catchy and quick to type perhaps that will be what i was thinking of take note markus101 when someone says “oh hey V2 has this problem” you will know what they are talking about
Also we are phasing out support for the old version. So there won’t be much discussions about that version. I’m predicting most of them will end with “upgrade to v2”
