Kat.cr - Unable to connect to indexer

Hi, It’s strange because if I go to the site all is fine!

Here the log

`Unable to connect to indexer: Curl Error 77 for Url https://kat.cr/tv/1/?rss=1&field=time_add&sorder=desc

any ideas?

The site (and the API) is extremely slow, it likely timed out loading, this doesn’t look like a problem on Sonarr’s side.

Ok, tnx.

But if I open the url, took less that 2 sec to load, it’s normal?

I’m having the same problem. https://kat.cr is working fine as i visite is with my normal browser. In sonarr I keep getting the same error: Indexers unavailable due to failures: KickassTorrents

KickassTorrents
https://kat.cr/tv/1/?rss=1&field=time_add&sorder=desc Curl Error
77 for Url
https://kat.cr/tv/1/?rss=1&field=time_add&sorder=desc

No getting what the problem is here. Worked fine before.

I am having the exact same issue on my Qnap.

Open KAT in a browser, no problems. Had an old Sonarr installation on a virtual Ubuntu - updated it to same version of Mono and Sonarr - KAT replies instantly.

Tried to re-install both Sonarr and Mono from scratch, no luck.

Oh i forgot… im on a Qnap also. Maybe there is something wrong with the combi qnap sonarr and kat?

I’m on the qnap too!

I also tried other kat proxy links, but always the same

…just to add my “same here” comment. Been happening for several days now…

Same here. Running on OSX El Capitan.

Just registered here to say that I was having the same issue. I changed the url to http:// instead of https:// and it started working again. Maybe this might work for you guy as well. I am running sonarr on my qnap as well.

Aha, it seems it worked for me, too! What do you know… thanks man!

Ah -oops, it stopped working. Darn…

+1 for this problem. Tried putting in other proxies. I also put in latest dev sonarr to see if it was fixed but no.

Yeah I’ve had that happen a couple times already since I figured it out a couple days ago. But initiating a “test” and saving it generally fixes it. KAT needs to get their shit together for a real fix.

Same, sometimes disabling/enabling indexer helps, sometimes a restart of Sonarr helps, sometimes nothing helps. Seems to happen on & off (more time with issue than not), but I think it’s probably kat end.

Saw this in the log:
“utf-8”’ is not a supported encoding name.
