Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.1.400 Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 5.18.0.268 OS: Ubuntu 16 Debug logs: Description of issue:
Disabled “Propers” under Settings>Media Management.
But despite having “propers” disabled in settings and the above preferred words, any releases with labeled with proper tags (e.g. ‘proper’, ‘repack’, etc) have more weight than the defined preferred words.
Weight as in the internal calculation Sonarr does to choose a download. The order you see in the screenshot is the order of precedence for Sonarr to pick a release to download - it’s ignoring the numbers you see there (eg 104).
There is another thread on this already, this is currently expected, disabling propers just disables upgrading to them later, it doesn’t remove their weighting.
We’ll be looking at an option to remove the additional weighting in the future.
So you’re saying when you do a manual search the first one on the top that matches your profile will be chosen ?
When I do a manual search it sorts on resolution first.
Then it looks like it sorts on filenames.
I’m on my phone now so I can make a decent screenshot
