Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4146 Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): Stable 4.4.0.40/f8474c4 OS: Arch Linux ((Debug logs)) (posted to hastebin or similar): Description of issue: Transmission speed fluctuates and other clients don’t work as I want them to.
Hello fellows,
I recently moved to Linux and set up Sonarr.
I found out that the only viable client is Transmission, “since Sonarr is unable to remove torrents that have finished seeding when using qBittorrent” , Deluge or rTorrent. I know people would say that I need to stop leeching and upload, but my upload speed is terrible (under 100KB) and I would need weeks to upload the GB’s I download every week.
Also I don’t trust uTorrent. I couldn’t get it to launch either for some reason.
So this only leaves Transmission.
I was using Transmission on my mac and everything was fine, until one day where my speed starting fluctuating for no reason. I thought I should give it a try but the same thing happens. After some research I found out that it is probably my router, even though I didn’t change anything.
Is there any way to fix any of the above problems?
I know I can use deluge plugins, but they don’t work as I want them to, meaning I don’t get a notification (I have setup email on Sonarr) and it deletes data for every torrent , not only sonarr’s.
I mean Sonarr can’t move them and delete the data if you just pause the torrent.
You have to wait for the ratio to reach what you have set in your settings.
As I said that is a problem for me since my upload speed is very low and my disk gets full.
Just set the ratio to 0 in Deluge (Queue settings) and it will pause the torrent right after it finishes downloading.
Once Sonarr is finished importing, it will tell Deluge to remove torrent + data.
Make sure to have the “Remove” option enabled in Sonarr settings.
Do you mean share ration limit or stop seeding when share ratio reaches a value.
When I tried changing the first option deluge would just pause the torrent and Sonarr wouldn’t delete the data.
Yes, I have enabled Remove in Completed Download Handling but deluge doesn’t stop the seeding.
That’s why Sonarr can’t actually delete the data even thought the torrent is 100% finished.
The only way to do this is to set “Stop seeding when share ratio reaches” in Queue options.
