Hello all, i am starting a new mediaserver and i want to run sonarr on it.
I am making the server run with os called Zfsguru and it’s based on freebsd 10.001.
Now i loked up different ways by google to install it but all looked a bit out of date and not espescially freebsd but more for freenas.
Well i am not running freenas but still want sonar to run and start from booting.
I already have mono installed by pkg install mono and all went wel without any errors, installed as root, now i need the right commands(git clone?)to get it installed and after that run/start with booting the server.
If anyone can help me out her?
I am beginner with unix/linux so need some simple but specific steps to get it running also with start up.
Many thanks for the great program.
Not specific to FreeBSD, but with mono installed (3.10 being recommended), you should be able to follow these steps:
Well i tried and i tried bit till now no luck yet.
I did git clone it to a folder but 1:i can’t find the NzbDrone.exe anywhere.
2:I can’t get it together to put in the start script where it belongs
Please i need more specific help.
Why did you got clone? There is no exe if you use git, you would need to compile. Take another look at the link I provided, u can’t be more specific than that.
Youre right that with git clone didn’get .ex3 with wget it worked manually.
After reboot though couldn’get it started again not even by hand.
Inverted the start stop script at the right place rc.d
But it seem mono/sonarr with freebsd isn’t the easiest/happiest of combinations.
Would really like to get sone more specific support if possible?
