Index downloaded files on Synology

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4949
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 3.10.0
OS: DSM 5.2-5967 Update 4

Description of issue:

When episodes are downloaded I want Sonarr to call the Synology Indexing service to update the library for viewing the files while browsing to them with DNLA. At this moment episodes get downloaded and placed in the correct folders. I see the files when I browse to them using an file explorer. When I manually click re-index files in the media server settings all downloaded files are visible of course.

I understood I should set up a connection to the Synology Indexing service. When I go to Settings -> Connect -> Add notification. I can select Synology Indexer. Add a name. But I have no option to select “on grab”, it’s greyed out. All other options are set on yes, as well as “update library”. When I click test eveything is ok. However, new files aren’t visible after they have been downloaded.

Thanks in advance.

On grab is when the download is sent to the download client, it’s disabled because there is no file to index at that time.

That makes sense yes.

I used to have Sickbeard running before I switched to Sonarr. Sickbeard was able to call the Synology Indexer correctly.
