Import failed, path does not exist

Version 2.0.0.5243

Windows 10 Pro x64.
Message from error log:
Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: Q:\downloads\XXXXXX.S02E02.WEB.x264-TBS[rarbg]

  • Torrent box is on HTPC.
  • Sonarr is on PMS.
  • Sonarr service is running with login credentials with admin rights
  • HTPC (torrent) downloads to a local folder, G:\Downloads located on PMS. This drive is mapped as Q on HTPC.
A couple of things have been tried with Remote Path Mappings. I have tried this:

Then I figured maybe Sonarr had to have the same remote path as the HTPC, so I used the SUBST command to create a virtual Q: Drive on PMS

The error message is always the same, Import failed, path does not exist.

A remote path mapping should be:

Host: Exact same as the Host field in the download client settings (in Sonarr)
Remote: Q:\
Local: G:\Downloads

As long as Q:\ on the torrent box points to G:\Downloads (and there is another subfolder for downloads in there, ie G:\Downloads\downloads): then the above mapping should work. SUBST may also work, but depends on when it was mounted and how Sonarr is running probably.

“Host: Exact same as the Host field in the download client settings (in Sonarr)”

This was the problem. Thanks for your help!
