Say you have a library of existing series. When you import existing series from disk and select the Monitor option for any of the detected shows, why does it choose that setting and default it for every show detected?
Changing any of the settings when adding a series sets that as the default and applies it to current and future series being added.
Hmm that might not be very clear to a user because theres no indication that its doing that. Could we have an option to switch it from 1. Applying to all series in a set 2. A column of checkboxes with select all / deselect all would work but I don’t know how that would look with the UI. Could also add the ‘+’ functionality in to it as well instead of having to manually press + on each show?
We don’t plan to change this behavior, we do plan to make bulk adding easier: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/issues/261
That manual one-by-one add is kinda intentional coz Sonarr may have detected the series incorrectly. Better to verify now while adding than to discover it later.
