Import: empty directories / folders not getting removed

It seems sonarr is no longer removing any of the empty directories after importing. In the past it was an issue also but most of the folders were being removed. Now it seems that every empty directory remains. I am importing (wanted-> manual import) many episodes that had some bad filenames previously and I am left with empty directories. Files import perfectly but directories remain. Radarr seems to be doing the same thing. I can’t say for sure if this started recently I I simply did not notice until now.

Samples directory permissions:

drwxrwxr-x. 2 nzbget nzbget

Sonarr user groups:

[dom@Server ~]$ groups sonarr
sonarr : sonarr dom nzbget rtorrent

Completed Download Handling

Enable = yes
Remove = no (I assume this should only affect for example nzbget history items)

Failed Download Handling

Enable = yes
Remove = no

OS Fedora 26
Sonarr ver: 2.0.0.5085 - 07 Dec 2017
FS: ext4

What am I missing here?

I don’t think Manual Import has ever removed the folder after importing.

Oh, that’s unexpected. I though manual import was pretty much the same as auto import. Is there any reason why manual import doesn’t work the same as auto import? I guess you might not want to have a root directory removed…
Perhaps it would make sense to remove empty dirs when the manual import is executed on the same directory as the auto import directory? Ideally I would not even use manual import but sonarr failed to import files that were badly named at first and then renamed correctly.

I’m with DominicM, I thought it was a bug that the empty folders didn’t get deleted. Would that be possible to add as a feature request?

+1 on that one. That would be a great addition.
