.Ignore files never get deleted

Sonarr is renaming my episodes and moving them to my folder where I want to keep them but it is leaving folders with .ignore files in them where utorrent downloads them to. Is this normal or do I have a setting wrong? What is the purpose of the .ignore files?

Thanks,
Riverbend

Sonarr will only remove a torrent if the torrent has finished seeding and it tells uTorrent to delete the torrent and its files (doesn’t delete directly from disk).

Not sure what the .ignore files are, they aren’t from Sonarr.

Hmmm maybe utorrent or couchpotato is creating them I’ll have to do more digging. Great work on sonarr!
Very nice

Couchpotato does indeed create .ignore files if it can’t match the movie to an IMDB entry… It’s so the renamer doesn’t keep chewing on it (if you happen to have a renamer set to a time scan).

Currently couchpotato and sonarr share the same download folder. should they be setup to use seperate folders? is there a way to tell utorrent which is movie vs tv show?

Thanks
