iCal Calendar with download / import state

So I export the calendar via the iCal link into Google Calendar so I know what shows are coming out when. The only downside or thing I don’t necessarily like is the fact that I can’t tell from Google Calendar if the show has already been downloaded / is downloading / etc.

I can, of course, sign up for notifications via Slack or Pushbullet, but I often share out the iCal link to people who are using my Plex. So it would be nice if the iCal link would update or a field for the information section of the TV Shows and let some of my friends know the state.

How would that be represented in the calendar? I’m not sure that there is a field that we could use that would provide a good way to see that.

I’d have to look more at how iCal feeds and Google Calendar interact but, have strings in the title or in the body that change based on status would work too. I wonder if you can shove emoji into titles for iCal.
