A friend is going to install and setup Sonarr 3.0 on his PC today and we were wondering if there is any way to keep Sonarr from searching for show episodes that were on prior to today’s date? I ask cause the couple of times I’ve installed Sonarr it grabbed episodes for various shows that were on prior to the date of my Sonarr install, episodes I already had. I ended up going through wanted and going show by show and manually unmonitoring the seasons and episodes on the current season I didn’t want / need. Thanks
When adding a series to sonarr you specify what you want monitored. It’s right there in the screen where you add series.
Sonarr also doesn’t actively search for older episodes, it only monitors rss feeds for new uploads (which could be for older episodes).
