How to install Sonarr on WD MyCloud EX2 Ultra

Hi, is there any way to install and run sonarr on WD myCloud ex2 ultra? western digital help forum suggests that there is NZBGet app available to install, but it is not showing in the list to install. I need some details on how to install and run Sonarr on WD MyCloud EX2 Ultra device.

Please a detailed answer would really help, I’m a noob here.

thanks a million

I’m not aware of anyone doing so, you’d first need to get mono 3.10+ or higher on there. In any event, you’re not likely to get a detailed how to since it’s unlikely anyone is running Sonarr on there and attempting to do so would not be for the feint of heart.

Hi - I have installed Sonarr and Radarr on the WD PR41000. It shouldn’t bee any different on your platform. ps note I’m quite novice at this.

you will need to go to https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/sonarr/ and follow the online ssh commands to get it installed.

note: there is no username or password for this docker so don’t port forward the port.

You will need to also have a P2P container to administer the downloads. I’m using QBitTorrent to do that.

Again you can find the container setup ssh here https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/qbittorrent/.

This QBittorrent UI requests a username and password to you can forward that port for outside the network monitoring and maintenance.

If you don’t have an indexer tool, you will need to set that up too Jackett as a container form the same site. Quite a few indexes work without needing a VPN but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Hope this works for you.
