Description of issue:
Not an issue as such, more a mess that I’ve managed to make and can’t seem to fix easily. I’ve had a search on here and not been able to find anything related to this.
I had a few different storages with TV shows scattered across them, I upgraded and then copied all the different storage locations to the new single location, the file structure was the same on all my storage, so I just merged them all together, this is where it went wrong!
It turns out that unbeknown to me, I had duplicates of the same shows on the different storages. Downside is they weren’t named identically in the show folders, so I’ve now got multiple duplicates with slightly different file names, likely from different resolutions / release versions.
If I scan the folders in Sonarr, then select manage episodes, it’s showing the duplicates as unmatched, it would take a significant amount of time to go through each show and manually delete each unmatched episode.
Is there any way at all to get Sonarr or some other software to scan the folders and delete all duplicates? Leaving only a single copy of each episode?
I’ve tried Tinymedia manager, but while it appears to be able to filter to shows with duplicates, it doesn’t give a way to delete the duplicates.
So if anyone has had to deal with this before and has some time, they’d be much appreciated!
