Help Understanding Delay

Sorry if my search-fu here failed me.

I understand how to use delay, I’m just confirming my theory that it is Sonarr that is “caching” the found releases in the Indexer feeds and then releasing the best match when the time is up.

Since I’m using RSS feeds, delays would probably make any release long gone from where it was found in the original feed. Pretty sure it is caching, just confirming before I add it.

Yup, it’s caching the rss result. It’s also stored in the database btw, not just in memory.
It’ll show the release in Activity->Queue as Pending/Delayed.

Please note that it does not prefetch the actual .nzb/.torrent file, that happens only when it begins to download the release.
