So i’ve been using Sonarr on my PC for a while now, and i love it. But now when there’s an official Sonarr plugin for FreeNAS i’d rather use that.
So what i’ve done so far:
Made a backup of my Sonarr database on my PC.
Installed Sonarr as a plugin on my FreeNAS.
Added storage “links” for all necessary folders.
Turned it on to see if it starts, which it does.
What i need help with:
Copy the backup from Sonarr (PC) to Sonarr (NAS) so everything is the same. I know how to SSH in to the jail, but that is basically all i know. I have no idea how to restore the backup.
Fix any permission issues that might appear. Probably they won’t, but it seems as if i always get problems with my permissions.
I’m running FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201412090314 and the plugin for Sonarr is sonarr-2.0.0.2850-amd64
There is a small how-to for synology, but should be very similar. You just need the freenas dirs, which you can probably find on the forum if you can’t figure them out.
Thanks for the reply.
I’ve already read that guide, and it didn’t give much.
Sorry if i’m bad at searching, but i can’t find the freenas dirs anywhere.
EDIT: i found the dirs! they’re at /var/db/sonarr
so i restored the backup now. all the settings were copied, but it still says “You must be new around here, You should add some series.” on the front page.
